My GH Metallica Review

I just rented GHM, and here's what I think.

Graphically, it's improved a lot from previous games. The on-stage characters move more fluidly and realistically, due to the fact that they used mo-cap to capture realistic movements. Even the camerawork is decent. A lot of detail here.

Setlist: Metallica's best known hits and then some underrated gems are here. One gripe is that a lot of songs that are in the game, 'Tallica covered (Am I Evil?, Stone Cold Crazy, and Tuesday's Gone, to name a few). Soo...... Other bands include Slayer, Alice in Chains, Diamond Head, Mercyful Fate, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. A solid list.

Fretting: Typical Neversoft. The slider notes add playability without detracting fun (it actually makes the solos easier, though, but there are still regular hopos).

Disagree with the first: I think it's improved, really. My major irk from WT was that the spacing between notes was always off. It's good now.
