GH3 Help

Ok, so I downloaded GH3 for PC today. And while playing songs, its really laggy, does anyone know something I could do to make it less laggy? Because I wanna play custom songs.

Do you have GH3CP (Guitar Hero 3 Control Panel)?

If so, use the speed boost option. And make sure nothing else like Firefox, Skype or other RAM hogs are running.

Also, customs make the game lag a bit, so don't add too many.

Where would the GH3CP be? Just in the folder for it?

I'm not sure if it is. I just downloaded a torrent. Probably isn't. Where can I get the patch? And I need a password for the download.

Now everytime I open the game something comes up right after I try to open it and says that the game has stopped working. D:

I know. D: All I did was download both of the things you posted links too, installed the patch, and the GH3CP and put the speed boost to full boost. Then it wouldn't work when I tried playing it.

Did you mod it (Add custom songs) before? If so, you have to reinstall it fresh D:

And if you didn't, close GH3CP and run it again. Reset the entire game and see if that works.

I didn't mod it. But when I downloaded it, I didn't even need to install it. That might be because I downloaded it a while ago too. But I'm gonna try and uninstalling it then re-installing.

EDIT: I can't. Nothing that says uninstall D:

Just delete the Aspyr folder if you need to uninstall, and get a new copy. You can find one in the software thread.

There isn't an Aspyr folder.

What folder did the game come in then? If you installed it, the Aspyr folder should be there.

And I hope you have a powerful enough PC to even run that game with decent frames.

Oh, I just found an Aspyr folder. All there is in there is save data though.

Well its either the patch or the control panel thats making the game not work. Because I downloaded quakegod's upload of GH3, and when it gets to the beginning loading screen, it stops working. D:

If you are using a No CD patch or crack for the game, it will be RUINED when you upgrade. If I were you, I would just get GH3 boost, which is also on scorehero.

I'll I have downloaded for it is the patch that KTown posted, the GH3CP, and the game. And it stops working right when it starts loading. I'll try using GH3 boost.

If you aren't running the game from a DVD, then the NoCD crack is your problem. The patch I gave you isn't that.

Well it worked without a no-cd patch until after i downloaded the patch you gave me and the gh3cp. Now its not working. And I have no idea what to do. D:
