The Official Fans On Fire Rules!

Hello!

Here at Fans On Fire, we take pride in knowing we are providing a free and SAFE environment for people to gather and talk about things they enjoy. The following rules will be placed in order to keep things running smoothly around the forums, and to lets users know what is to be expected. So, without further ado, here are the FOF rules.

Please read the rules thoroughly. This is to ensure a safe and better community.

:::TUNE/THEME POSTING:::
- If you download a song/theme, please thank the user for their time they put into making it. It is hard work and is appreciated by the user.
- STEALING IS AGAINST THE RULES! Anyone caught doing so will be punished by severity. This ranges from a ONE WEEK BAN to a PERMABAN!

:::POSTING:::
- Spam is not permitted at the Fans on Fire forums. Anyone found spamming (Spamming includes, but is not limited to, advertising, posting random information not relevant to the topic at hand, pointless posting, etc.)
- Do not post pornographic material. This is not only against our forum rules, but against Forumotion Policy as well. Please refrain posting anything that may break this rule.
- When posting, anything bashing or personally attacking another member of this forum or another forum is strictly prohibited. This includes threats, swearing, or anything deemed inappropriate by our staff.
- Hijacking threads (taking them off topic purposely to spite the creator of the thread) constitutes both spam AND abuse, and WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
- Trolling is NOT ALLOWED on the forum. This includes starting flame wars just to make drama, posting spam to get other members angry, etc.
(BREAKING ANY OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN A WARNING, UNLESS IT INVOLVES LEGAL MATTER, IN WHICH YOU WILL BE BANNED PERMANENTLY)

:::PRIVATE MESSAGING (PM):::
- Do not send out mass PM's with the same message in all of them. It is considered spam, and will not be tolerated.
- Do not flame in PM's. It's rude and will result in a suspension.
- Unless the message is from a legit username of a moderator or administrator, DO NOT give out your personal info. We won't EVER ask for it, so you have nothing to worry about.
- If you receive spam in a PM, please block the user from contacting you and send an admin a PM entitled "PM Spam Alert". In the message, state the message the user posted and the username of the poster.
(BREAKING ANY OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN A WARNING, UNLESS IT INVOLVES LEGAL MATTER, IN WHICH YOU WILL BE BANNED PERMANENTLY)

::OTHER RULES:::
- If you create more than one account, we will assume that it is for spam and ban you for a total of 3 days. If for whatever reason you have to make another account, PM a moderator or administrator for permission first.
- If you have any complaints about the forum/rules/layout or anything involving Fans, private message a moderator or administrator and they will help you to the extent of their power.

:::WARNINGS:::
- Everyone starts out clean with no warnings.
- Breaking one of the above rules results in a warning, no questions asked. I trust the judgment of our staff. If you have a complaint about a warning, contact an administrator.
- 3 warnings equals a 3 day posting ban
- 4 warnings equals a 7 day posting ban
- 5 warnings is a PERMABAN!
