I could never use the sock mod because I had a different drum version or whatever. I didn't need it though because my set didn't drop hits o anything until it was 6 months old.

I considered trying this. But I don't have an actual drum set for rockband. I have the portable drums for 360 taped onto rockband drums for the ps2.

I could, just my pads were too sensitive. Hence the mod.
