My take on this whole mess

I feel like I'm in high school again. Everyone here is around that age, and it makes sense. You know what all this boils down to?
DRAMA.
Now here's my stance.
I really like this place. It's much less uptight than the FOF-FF and the member base is good. We can actually have discussions. Now, I've seen a lot of people complain that this has become nothing but off topic. My question is, what's wrong with that? I love discussions like the ones we've had. I put all of my heart and mind into those religion debates and really hoped I'd reach someone, and I always was trying to connect to someone, anyone, in some way. I feel like I usually managed, and it was genuinely fun to sign on here and start talking again.
Now, it seems YOU Ktown have discovered some new-found maturity and love for the outdoors. Here's my take on THAT, too.
Disclaimer: I think you're awesome, man, and none of this is an attack on you. It's just me being annoyed at this whole thing.
If the only reason you're giving up is cause you went outside, you never should have been in charge in the first place. I know you loved this place, and that's why I KNOW there's more to it than that. Also, I play hockey, play tennis, run, swim, make videos, make graphics, hang out with friends, pack for college and do almost any physical activity that comes my way and STILL manage to do everything I said in the first paragraph. It's not like you have to choose to be on here or go outside. You can easily live in both worlds. I live primarily in the physical one, and I STILL get all this posting on here done. It's not that big a deal to split your time, people.

So my point is, this shouldn't be dead. What's it hurt to just have it here? It's a really fun place and I'd be sad to see it go. Even if I won't be on it as much cause I'll be off in college, I'd still visit and post and be around. Why can't everyone else? High school is NOT a big time commitment, people...

I gave up on the forum because a vast majority of the userbase is complaining and is overall just not happy with the place. I could try explaining to them what you just wrote, because that is EXACTLY what I think, but all I get is "But WHYYY??!!" and it's just gotten to the point where I really don't care for all the drama. If there is a problem with talking to people on a website that you enjoy hanging around on and joking around with, then that's great, that is why I'm still here, for the same reasons some of you are.

But to the ones telling me to grow up and make this forum what it used to be, until you give me some ideas, you're only part of the problem.
