Moderators Update

I have removed the ability for moderators to ban for the time being. I do believe that the administrators will make good judgment and if a moderator would like to appeal for a member to be banned/unbanned, a PM to an administrator will do nicely.

I have also removed ZPJ and IAmN00b from the moderators list, seeing as one was deathly inactive (Sorreh man.) and the other misused his moderator privileges.

Well didn't you just remove those who were abusing that ability? Why remove it from the rest of the Mods?

Here's my problem with that. I find that Mods are most useful in the case of a cracked user attacking the site. They can ban and take all the necessary action to stop the attack when the Admins aren't on. Considering that we now have Admins who will be extremely limited in terms of activity, we could have some trouble.

I think he has a point. We could do one of those "If anyone abuses this again, THEN the mod ban powers get taken away," but keep them for the time being

It's really just personal experience. Jam Legendary got attack multiple times and I was the only member on. Luckily I was a mod and so was able to take care of him. And to be honest, this place has had a LOT of crazies in the past.

Ya I agree we can't wait around for an admin when someone is wrecking the site.

I fixed it. Mods can now ban, but if any of you go on a banning rampage, all of you lose it.

I guess even KTown doesn't care I can hack fans.
