Online FoF?

Will it happen anytime soon? I don't think anyone has the time, patience or money to put a server up for multi player.

It will happen when a non-noob with no life learns advanced coding.

Not only would there have to be a server, it would have to be an uberserver with 7 1tb raid drives in a raid array with a 4.0ghz overclocked intel quad core processor and 16 gigs of memory. Or something.

There are, but it's just too much hassle. Nobody would go through the trouble to make a free game online, and not get paid for it in any way.

Here is a strike of information for all of you n00bs. There already is a server. FoF Online is in the care of Acedia. Don't you think that when he says "I have the turn on the server." It means there's a server? Duh.

Also, Servers are free on Ubuntu.

He said it should be done around May. I knew about it, but forgot about the thread.

HAhAHAHA I think you mean you can make a free server using ubuntu. Ubuntu is a linux distro that comes in 2 varieties - Desktop and Server. Server comes with MySQL and Apache preinstalled.
